BTCW is WisdomTree's spot Bitcoin ETF, a manager specialised in ETFs with a strong presence in the US and Europe. WisdomTree was already managing crypto ETPs on European exchanges back in 2019, giving it operational experience with digital assets. In the US market it has gathered modest AUM compared with the giants (BlackRock, Fidelity), partly due to a smaller distribution network. With a 0.25% TER, it competes in line with the market average. Custodied by Coinbase, it trades on CBOE BZX.
